Biography

Avetik Mejlumyan received his bachelor's degree from the "Social Work" department of the Faculty of Philosophy, Sociology and Psychology of Yerevan State University, and his master's degree from the same department of the Faculty of Sociology.

Avetik is a candidate of sciences in philosophy (2009).

Throughout his broad professional career, he worked in the "Protection of Rights without Borders" NGO as a team coordinator, in the "Working Group of the Education Strategy of Armenia" of the Asian Development Bank as an expert and coordinator.

Avetik Mejlumyan has worked and taught at the Department of "Social Work and Social Technologies" of the Faculty of Sociology of Yerevan State University for 10 years.

Avetik worked as a research coordinator and senior analyst at the "Public Policy Institute" NGO, and is now the director of the institute.

At the "Center for International and Comparative Law" Avetik Mejlumyan is a program coordinator.
